The Sims Medieval: Bric-a-Brac Day
Sweden
sotnosen93
Hey, guys, and welcome to my latest (long overdue) quest in The Sims Medieval! Now, in case you've forgotten, I put up a poll about what quest to do last time we visited the Kingdom of Hetalia. Well, as you can probably see in the title for this post, the quest Bric-a-Brac Day won out! Now, in hindsight I probably shouldn't have put "A Lost Child" on that poll, because it's really short and definitely would not have made a nice, long post. That definitely wouldn't have been very entertaining, and I'm having a hard time believing someone finds my little Let's Play good enough to read in the first place XD

Instead, I should definitely have put Tournament of Hono(u)r on the poll, because that's a special quest that's going to be very helpful in my quest to get platinum in this ambition. Plus that it's a double-hero quest, which means both fun interactions and reaching platinum level on the quest quicker. In case you've forgotten or I just plain forgot to tell you, this ambition is all about reaching high level in quests, so that's definitely something we want. Basically, expect to see that quest soon.

So for this quest, we will finally be playing as England! And since I haven't created a character for this part, but want to put something in to mark the start, you'll have to do with a picture of his tower.

And that is Bric-A-Brac Day! I hope you enjoyed the quest and that I didn't screw up England's characterisation! For today's poll, it's back to basics as we pick another Hetalia character to enter the kingdom's service. After that, we just might return to the war between Tredony and Aarbyville. Remember that? Yeah, it's still a thing. I say "might" because I literally do not know. The quest list is refreshed every time you make a new hero or complete a quest, and since we're going neutral and leaning ever-so-slightly to the Noble side, I want a quest that favours the Pirates. So please do remember to vote for what hero you want!

And the first interesting thing that happens during the day is England wetting himself. Because that's the sort of thing that happens in this Asylum. However, it wasn't because of our cursed plumbing as you'd think, but because Belarus was hogging the bathroom to take a long bath. Honestly, it's like the AI doesn't know I can make the toilets clean themselves if I just had some time.

The Sims Medieval: Dangerous Minds
Sweden

Hello, one and all, and welcome to another quest in The Sims Medieval! It was a close race as usual in the votes, but luckily we once again have a winner!

Screenshot-2
It's Liechtenstein! Or Lili as she will be known in this game. She will be taking over her brother's place from our last, failed playthrough and be our Merchant. Her traits and flaw are:
Good: Good Sims go out of their way to help friends and family in need, are charitable with their money, and frequently comfort those around them.
Friendly (it was originally Haggler, as I assumed she'd be taking after her brother, but I figured it'd be better to have traits she's actually exhibited in canon, even if it's not that different from Good): Friendly Sims love being around friends, and are great at making and keeping friendships.
Puny: Puny Sims are physically weak and feeble. They rarely can hold their own in a fight, and strenuous activity quickly leaves them tired and sore.

I know she hasn't really been shown to be physically weak, but I couldn't find any flaws that really fitted her, so I'm going with assumptions here. Quest-wise we are leaning ever so slightly to the Tredonian side, and there are currently no quests to sway us to the Aarbyvillians, so we'll be having a quest unrelated to the war at the moment. I believe several of our current heroes would appreciate if the peasants (France's words, not mine) got a bit of an education. Let's use our new Merchant for such a goal, shall we? I give you... And we start the way with (or rather, the first thing I found worth commenting on was) the sink breaking as well. Because of freaking course.

The Sims Medieval: The Incident
Sweden
sotnosen93
Hello, and welcome to my The Sims Medieval play and the second, more interesting part of the prelude to the pirates vs. nobles war! We didn't have many votes, but we did luckily have enough for a majority! Three out of four (me included) voted for going neutral in the conflict, so that's what I'm going for. As for the new hero in the kingdom...

It's England! And yes, I deliberately went for really plain clothes to contrast France. He will be the kingdom's resident wizard for all its protection, harvest-improvement and cool light show needs. That, and he's here to antagonise America and France so I'll have more fun interactions to write in joint quests. Not gonna lie, that's the real reason he's here.

And his traits and fatal flaw are:
Call of the Sea - Sims with this trait have a deep love of the high seas. Select GO WHALE HUNTING, PATROL HIGH SEAS, or have your Sim engage in their special interaction, the Fishing Trip. The Fishing Trip action is similar to the whale hunt, and your Sim has the opportunity to catch several different types of fish.
Loves Family - Sims with the Loves Family Trait have a close connection with their families, and enjoy talking about and being with their loved ones.
Drunkard - Drunkards have a love-hate relationship with various intoxicating beverages; they love to drink, drink often and in large amounts, but really hate life when they wake up the next morning.

Because we all love pirate!England, daddy!England and drunk-beyond-reason!England. As with France, though, we won't be playing with him yet. Instead, we'll keep playing with Rome for one more quest so we can get this underway!

And that was The Incident! I hope it was entertaining enough to make up for the wait, and now that the war has broken out (Yaaaay for wars!), we will hopefully start playing as other heroes. One thing pretty high on my priority list is getting England to join the pirate side. Because that needs to be a thing. And if he does, France will obviously need to join the nobles. That also needs to be a thing. I've played the quest before so I can say it'll be kind of embarassing for him, but anything for pushing people around with his fancy title and getting pretty clothes!

As for where we stand after this quest, we are slightly leaning towards the Tredonian side, but I think we are all in all in the neutral zone. And as always, it is now time to vote for our next hero! The Wizard position is filled, so besides England, that also leaves Romania out! Make sure to vote and I'll see you all next time!

Hetalia Asylum Week 2 Day 1
Sweden
sotnosen93
Hello, everyone, and welcome to week two of my Sims Asylum! On the bright side, no-one is dead yet! On the not so bright side, America still hasn't gotten a single promotion so this may take a while. But hopefully, a weekend of studying Logic will solve that.

Well, the votes have been counted (and with the time it's been since the latest, it's safe to say everyone with any amount of interest has voted) and France just barely wins out, being the only sim with three votes! He will be our resident Bard, in charge of writing plays, singing and other arty stuff.

Hungary, dear, I know you have a total crush on him, but spying on him in his sleep isn't socially acceptable. Also, shouldn't you take advantage of that bed?

Alright, the votes have been counted and the results are in. And luckily enough, the results are exactly what I voted for! That's right, I'll be voting in these too. It's my game, so it's only fair that I get to vote for who and how I want to play as well, don't you think?

Well, without further ado, the results are... drumroll, please...

The Sims Medieval Restart
Sweden
sotnosen93
I kinda have some bad news. When I went to start work on the next Sims Medieval mission (as for the Sims 3 Asylum, I'm working on that too, I just felt more like playing Medieval today) when the game wouldn't load the kingdom for some reason. The game suggested I should restart the game, and I did, but the same problem appeared. Being about as tech-savvy as France, I saw no other way to solve it than to start a new kingdom with the same name.

All is not bad, however, for there are two good things to be happy about. One, thanks to sushigal007's unintentional help, I have now found a way to make a poll that actually works! Two, a patch that came out after I started the first allows you to make a building directly at the start of the kingdom, so instead of just the monarch you can now start with the monarch AND another hero of your choice! Thus, here are two polls for you, and we'll restart this thing the next time. Let's all hope we'll have no more problems like this one! Now with the all new choices (as in, never used in the game before as of this moment), Monaco and Romania!

Edit: The votes have been counted and work has begun on the new part, so the polls are now closed!
